Job Title: DevOps Engineers – JR/351
Job Description
PrimeSoft is seeking a Junior DevOps engineers to manage and support infrastructure hosted in cloud platform.
Candidate should have experience in creation of pipelines and create and maintain infrastructure as code. Should be able to maintain operations of applications, operating systems, virtualization environments, networking and web environments.
The selected candidate shall be a self-starter. The selected candidate shall be process oriented with ability to work independently and with teams. Candidate should have good written and verbal communication skill and a positive attitude. Candidate should have had exposure to working with clients, and client driven projects.
Setup and maintenance of non-production and production environments in AWS cloud platform to support product development. Experience other cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure, GCP, etc. is a plus
Assist in building / packaging of applications and work closely with development teams to ensure that solutions are designed for deployment in cloud environments
Design and develop tools, plug-ins, and solutions necessary for CI/CD workflow using Jenkins, GitHub, Docker and other services
Set up and manage VPN for users and systems to enable secure remote access and data upload
Implement automated process to promote/push software to multiple environments
Design, implement, document and maintain scripts to enhance current build/release processes
Troubleshoot technical issues and assist development team as necessary to resolve issues
Mandatory skills
Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux and comfortable with scripting in Python/Shell Scripting for deployment and management
Hands-on experience with AWS Core Services like VPC, EC2, S3, Route 53, RDS, IAM, Elastic cache, SES, Load Balancers, CloudFront
Hands-on experience with Azure including VNet, Subscriptions, Load Balancers, storage
Experience with automation/configuration management using either Puppet, Chef, Ansible or Terraform
Experience in Continuous Integration (CI)/ Continuous Delivery (CD) pipeline tools like GitHub, Jenkins
Experience in building and maintaining Docker images
Experience in containerization, configuring and configuring containers with Kubernetes
Experience with Git /Github for source code management is preferred
Troublesho0t and resolve issues with web infrastructure, virtualization and storage
Exposure to micro-services and good experience in deploying/troubleshooting micro-services built on NodeJS / Java / Python is a plus
Good knowledge in Linux, Web Servers, Application Servers and Middleware tools
Good verbal communication and documentation skills
