Job Description
PrimeSoft is seeking a Senior DevOps engineer to Design & Implement automated, containerized cloud application platform solutions
Candidate should have working experience in design, implement automated containerized cloud applications, create pipelines and create and maintain infrastructure as code. Should be able to maintain operations of applications, operating systems, virtualization environments, networking and web environments.

The selected candidate shall be a self-starter. The selected candidate shall be process oriented with ability to work independently and with teams. Candidate should have good written and verbal communication skill and a positive attitude. Candidate should have had exposure to working with clients, and client driven projects.

Desired Skills

Experience with different cloud providers (AWS /IBM Cloud) and exposure implementing AWS Cloud Solutions for large enterprises; preferably, certified architect

Experience in building and maintaining Docker images

Extensive experience in containerization, configuring and configuring containers with Kubernetes or OpenShift

Exposure to micro-services and good experience in deploying/troubleshooting micro-services built on NodeJS / Java / Python
Automation using scripting (Shell and/or Python)

Knowledge in ElasticSearch, Redis, Kafka is a plus

Experience with CI/CD automation, Ansible, Terraform is a plus

Troubleshot and resolve issues with web infrastructure, virtualization and storage

Good knowledge in Linux, Web Servers, Application Servers and Middleware tools

Exposure to monitoring techniques and tools

Experience in DVCS systems like Git/Github, BitBucket and collaboration tools like Confluence, JIRA

Good verbal communication and documentation skills
